Jean brings just under 20 years teaching experience from Middle School level, Adult Education, facilitating Art workshops and teaching privately from her home studio in Ogunquit. Taking inspiration from the words of Dutch artist, Vincent van Gogh on being an artist: "I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart." Encouraging her students to explore, develop technical skills along with following a personal vision or desire to experiment is taking another clue from van Gogh as ' always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it." An open mind, the ability to focus & enthusiasm for Art are all essential ingredients Jean hopes to cultivate in her students.
