Outdoor Last Minute Shoppers Christmas Fair
20 brave Maine Craftspeople will gather outdoors at The New School at 38 York St. (Rt. 1 south of Kennebunk) on December 19 from 10 to 2 to offer hand made gifts for last minute shoppers.
The fair is a benefit for The New School which is an independent, democratic high school where students find their voices through the arts, activism and creative, challenging academics. The school web site is thenewschoolmaine.org
Among the crafts offered will be handmade soap, gift cards, journals, children’s clothing, knitted items, pottery, pepper jams, jewelry, fabric Christmas bags, paintings, wooden ware, air plants.
In case of snow, wind or hail, the Fair will be on Sunday, December 20 from 10 to 2. Masks are required, and social distancing will be in force. COVID19 has made some big changes, but not all bad as an outdoor fair can be a fun way to Holiday shop! For more information, contact marylynwentworth@tnsk.org
