Bowls of Hope on November 2nd was a success! We ra Bowls of Hope on November 2nd was a success! We raised over $3000 at the event with nearly $1000 of that going to Kennebunk’s Community Outreach Services and the remainder going to help fund The New School’s academic program. We could not have done any of this without the support of our volunteers from our community. Soups served came from Bev’s Cafe & Market, Chez Rosa, Crotux Kitchen at Garden Street Bowling, Frinklepod Farm, H. B. Provisions, and The Nonantum. Our student-made bowls were a collaborative effort with The Cellar Co. And, of course, we had a generous sponsorship from Bangor Savings Bank. #bowlsofhope
Well, technically, our winning streak began with a Well, technically, our winning streak began with a bye week, but still: VICTORY! Yes, our Rainbow Roadents had their first actual victory this week with a 3-2 game. Very proud of our eSports team!
