Bowls of Hope: March 14th

Join us for the 3nd Annual Bowls of Hope: a fundraising event on Saturday, March 14, 4:30-7 PM, at The New School, 38 York St, Kennebunk. Bowls of Hope is a warm, cozy night of wonderful soups and bread from local restaurants. Sample the soups, then fill a handmade bowl with your favorite soup and grab some bread for dipping. Learning Happens On and Off Campus

Students have been out in the world this fall, engaging with local history, ecology, and the environment around them. Recent field trips included visits to Ocean View Cemetery in Wells, the Nathaniel Lord Mansion, and Old York Historical Society — part of our Local Haunts course exploring how stories, place, and people shape our shared past. Join Us for Flex Fridays

Every Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 3:30 The New School will have opportunities for art and outdoor physical experiences, plus some special events and classes. All the experiences will be led by local people who believe in The New School and have expertise to share. Students — including homeschoolers that haven’t joined the school community — will be able to earn high school credit and achievement narratives will be provided for most of these.
