LEAP Night is Soon!
Our end-of-school-year LEAP (Learning Exhibitions and Performances) Night will be held on June 10th, with doors opening at 5:15. Conversations with students will begin at 5:30.
LEAP Night is a public celebration of student learning. Students create displays representing their work from all classes and other learning experiences they have participated in this semester.
Our evening begins with each student first showing their work to a small group of community members (between one and three) in a presentation and discussion format, then we open the school up at 6:30, allowing all members of the community to browse all of our students’ displays. The conversations our students have with their individual LEAP feedback teams are an important component of our mission to help students articulate their learning. If you can join us as a feedback team member, you will be given a list of guiding questions and material to allow for providing feedback to our students.
If you would like to join us as a LEAP Feedback Team member on June 10th, please sign up at the form at https://forms.gle/4g64p4aqEkp7pHns8 by June 6th!
