It’s the Spring Fever Fest Plant Sale!
The New School welcomes spring’s arrival with the Spring Fever Fest Plant Sale, to be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Students have been lovingly tending organic veggie, flower and herb seedlings in the school’s greenhouse—these as well as a number of native plants and seeds will be for sale at great prices. It’s going to be fun for the whole family with live music, lawn games, and free crafts for kids.
At the Event
We are pleased to announce that Eden Acres Family Farm will be on hand with quick pickles for tasting and have organic apple cider vinegar and cider popsicles for sale. Additionally, Brian and Ali from the orchard will have a selection of bath and body care products, such as their lavender apple cider vinegar hair rinse and white lotus face and body oil.
Jessica from Mountain View Bees is hosting information about beekeeping, with beekeeping tools and (likely) a viewing hive, honey extractor, and a smoker to try out. In addition to all that, she will have honey for sale!
Speaking of info, the University of Maine’s Master Gardeners program will be present with a booth with gardening info. Do you have gardening questions? Our Master Gardeners have answers!
Interested in homeopathies and flower essences? Michelle Draghetti of In Harmony Homeopathy will have a collection available.
Marylyn from Neverdun Farm not only will be leading a workshop on converting a yard into a garden, she’s hosting a herbal tea booth with tea and plants for sale and will be providing information on how to create and maintain a tea garden of your own.
But what about when you are done with your tea? Well, Laurie (the chair of The New School’s Board of Trustees) is hosting a table were you can make your own tea cup bird feeder.
All this plus ice cream from our local Ben & Jerry’s, freshly-squeezed lemonade, and pizza slices from our brick pizza oven await you on Saturday, May 16 starting at 10!
