An image of robots competing in a prior year's event. BUILD A FREAKIN' ROBOT is at the top of the image. Several comments such as OMG ROBOTS are all over the image. A robot from the red team is going up an incline and picking up an orange traffic cone. Other robots from the blue and red teams are in the arena. The seats are filled with spectators.

Our award-winning and incredibly fun robotics competition team returns for a new season! Teams of high school students compete in building industrial-sized robots to play difficult field games and ally with other teams. Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? Interested in STEM? Robotics? Coding? Just building things?

DO YOU LIKE ROBOTS? (They are pretty awesome.)

Yes? Contact our Robotics Coach, MaryBeth Luce and get signed up!

The team is a safe place — members of the LBGTQ+ community are encouraged to reach out if they are interested!

A flyer that describes the Rainbow Junkyard, a robotics team and the basics of the competition: design and build an industrial-sized robot, join alliances and play against other teams, and promoting STEM educational experiences within the local community. Images our robot, a rectangular device with an angled platform, appear in various stages: construction, completed, and in play (where the robot appears to be gaining air, lifting off the ground)
