In this interview style presentation, author Pam Leo will share her knowledge and experience in connection parenting which is based on the premise that meeting children’s biological need for emotional connection creates the healthy, strong parent-child bond children need to thrive and that bond is also the key to effective parenting. Come learn some new tools and approaches for parenting! The interview will be followed by a question and answer session.

About the Presenter
Pam Leo is an independent scholar in human development, a leading voice in the Conscious Parenting Movement, and a family literacy activist. She is the author of Connection Parenting and the children’s book, Please Read to Me. Pam is a founding board member of the Alliance for Transforming the Lives of Children and a board member and contributing editor with Kindred World. Pam has been a featured speaker at national conferences—including the Wild + Free conference—and continues to inspire parents and educators through her writing, teaching, and advocacy.
